All Open Door Mission donors and volunteers hold a special place in the community.   Each one is appreciated and valued.   The hungry, hurting and homeless men of the Houston area and Open Door Mission are blessed to have countless friends to rely upon.   Without each one so many lives would have been lost.   The featured donors and volunteers are here to show our appreciation to each and every donor we have.   Please know our appreciation and gratitude is extended to all.

We would like to say thanks to our neighbor here in the East End of town, Sara Lee, for donating their wonderful coffee and other products for the men of our Mission to enjoy.   Their donation enables us to spend more money on other important needs here at the Mission.   Thanks again Sara Lee – we enjoy partnering with compassionate companies like you!

Volunteers like Nadine make this Mission a better place to live and learn.   We would like to thank Nadine for spending so much time at the Mission providing such a valuable service to our men – teaching.   Nadine has spent countless hours helping our men get on track with their education to eventually find better jobs.   Hats off to you Nadine for being an inspiration to all!
