Upon Graduation from the Alan & Ann Craft DoorWay Drug/Alcohol Recovery program, the men are eligible for our Disciple Partners Program, a low-income, transitional housing program for Open Door Mission graduates with no home or family waiting. The Disciple Partners receive transitional housing – three months still at the Mission, three months in low-income housing, but still in the program - food and access to social services while they seek employment – with the added help of job readiness preparation, job referrals, vocational training through our collaboration with Work Faith Connection, resume development and interviewing skills training. Disciple Partners continue recovery group participation, counseling and biofeedback. If the family is unable or unwilling to be reunited, the Mission assists the Disciple Partner to find long-term affordable housing.
