Fun Team Opportunities

Laughter, play, and positive social connection are powerful tools for healing and personal growth. As a member of our Fun Team, you help create moments of joy and connection for our residents through engaging, high-energy activities held on weekday evenings or weekend afternoons and evenings. From karaoke and game nights to intramural sports and creative group events, Fun Team volunteers provide a safe, uplifting space where residents can relax, build relationships, and rediscover confidence.

This role is about more than entertainment—it’s about fostering community, encouraging healthy social interaction, and reminding our residents that joy still has a place in their journey forward. Whether you volunteer on your own or as part of a group, your creativity and enthusiasm can make a lasting impact.

This role can be done solo, or with a team

Karaoke Night

Create a joyful and supportive atmosphere by hosting an evening of music and laughter for our residents. Your energy helps build community and provides a much-needed outlet for expression and fun during their journey of recovery.

Game Night

Do you enjoy board games? Cards? Trivia? Group Challenges? Bring joy and camaraderie to our residents by facilitating an evening of whatever type of fun you can think of! Your involvement fosters a sense of belonging and provides a vital space for relaxation and healthy social interaction.

Intramural League

Build teamwork and resilience by organizing sports tournaments of your choosing and coaching residents in friendly competition. Your leadership helps our men develop confidence and discipline through the power of play and athletic achievement. This opportunity requires volunteer groups, rather than one individual volunteer.
